Tom Hayden would be proud. I keep bringing this up, and will probably continue, but there are tunnels that connect the office buildings to the Capital building. There was never a need for any of the supporting Congressman to be out in the crowd except to be able to say "when I was in the crowd someone called me a name." PERIOD. That's why they were there. Now we know from the Capital police that they have recognizable "professional protestors", as I was told. That's concerning on a couple of fronts. First, who pays them? Second, why are they recognizable to the police? Third, are we now being photographed by the police for the intent of being labelled later on down the road? Lastly, should we now start trying to figure out who these professionals are and be prepared for them? As for the Tea Part movement losing it's identity due to Republicans...we only ever wanted the Republicans to be conservatives again. We never wanted a third party. If a more conservative Democrat ran, we'd support him or her but that just isn't going to happen. An alighnment with the Republicans is more organic. Notice I said alighment and not absorption.
