Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck all claim to put support behind the TEA party movement. The real reason they make this claim is because they know most of the TEA party movement is made up of disgruntled Repubs, and playing to those people emotions will gain the republican the upper hand in November. The true TEA partiers would not support any of these knuckleheads! True TEA partiers stand behind the real leader of the movement, the one who really began this new movement, RON PAUL! The best and only choice a real TEA partier will follow.

Hello Right Wingers ---

We had eight years of Bush and Cheney, but now you get mad!

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.
You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got ousted.
You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed..
You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
You didn't get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said
illegal war.
You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq .
You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.
You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
You didn't get mad when we let a major US city drown.
You didn't get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.
You didn’t get mad when, using reconciliation; a trillion dollars of our tax dollars were redirected to insurance companies for Medicare Advantage which cost over 20 percent more for basically the same services that Medicare provides.
You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark, and our
debt hit the thirteen trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans... oh hell no.

I rest my case.

I'm worried that the whole idea of the tea party is being used for political expediency. The recent lawsuit by Guetzloe for using the name of "his" tea party name is awful. There should be no tea PARTY as a result of this movement. The tea party should make up the demographics of every political party and be a means of returning the country to the center, returning to a limited government and defending the US Constitution. I don't see Sara Palin as being politcally expedient, but I am worried that that is the perception. The whole convention was politcally expedient because so much money was involved. Speakers should be happy to volunteer to speak. There are of course costs to running such a huge event and someone will have to pay, but with that, there should be no profit involved. That is the one of the things that worries me about her. That and the fact she's still campaigning for McCain, who does not have the best interests for the Republican party and has a different view all together of our country's founding the the US Constitution.

Obviusly the Republican Party believes in the two party system but I was surprised to see Palin waffling on the question myself in her recent speech in Tennessee. The question is really this when it comes to the issue of splitting the vote by voting for an independent candidate: will you risk your vote or will you risk your conscience? Why unite around the same insanity that has brought us to where we are now by doing the same thing and expecting different results. If you pull the party ticket in November make sure you then pull the handle next to the voting tab. That's the one that makes a Founding Father spin over in his grave.

Tim; Sarah Palin's speech urged the Republican party to embrace the core values of the Tea Party and to work together with us. Palin has never even hinted that she would run as an independent or third party candidate, she is a Republican... That said; I find her a great grassroots spokesperson, however I feel that in view of the devastation caused by the progressives, we need a vary strong kick butt and take names style presidential candidate for 2012. We need to drive a stake through the heart of the progressive party which is a true third party that has caused divisions in both of the two major parties. These people need to be investigated and prosecuted for their crimes against the people. For that reason alone I could not support Palin in 2012.
The primary focus at this time should be on taking back our house with grassroots constitution loving representatives in 2010. If we can gain control of the house working with the Republicans we can stop the Progressive agenda dead in its evil tracks.

Sarah Palin's influence in The Tea Party could push the power of the organization over the edge, and into a divisive force that would grant the dems a solid victory in November. We must solidly unite under the banner of the Republican Party. If Sarah wants to be a leader, then she must take a strong postition on unity. Otherwise, she will hand the dems a victory. We, the People, must let her know this.

I was very moved by Sarah Palin's speech on Saturday. I think she is great and I wish more politicians would come forward and speak the truth without any fear as she did. More power to her!!!
