		<description>Wow, the author of this is way off.  Schools that Corinthian and similar companies own are not wasteful in comparison to other colleges.  In fact the additional scrutiny that share-holders provide forces for-profit schools to run a tighter ship. They are subject to additional audits and controls such as Sarbanes–Oxley and most have yearly internal audits from respected accounting firms like PWC.  

Moreover, Corinthian changes all of their schools names to Everest which may explain why you could not find them listed under their original names.  Also, the 90/10 rule is still very much in place. And Finally, proprietary schools would not exist without a demand.  Publicly funded schools and private schools without large endowments have been cut to the bone.  Since organizations such as yours are against raising taxes, how do you intend to offer programs at community colleges that would replace those offered at proprietary schools?  Either massive overhaul is required, or you need to be realistic.  For-profit schools are here to stay, get used to it.</description>
